Citizen Boards, Commissions, Committees

The County of Calaveras appreciates your interest in serving on one of the County’s Boards, Committees or Commissions. There are approximately 30 Boards, Committees and Commissions to which the Board of Supervisors appoints some or all of the members. All are required to comply with the Ralph M. Brown Act governing public meetings. Some members are required by law to file statements of economic interest (assuming office statement, annual statements, and leaving office statements) for the purpose of disclosing potential conflicts of interest. The Clerk of the Board provides access to all forms and the completed statements are filed with the Clerk of the Board. In certain situations, members may be required to complete Ethics Training every two years and submit a Certificate of Completion to the Clerk of the Board. To learn more about specific Boards, Committees and Commissions click on the link for each.
